Our mission is to foster a community of solidarity, empowerment, and holistic wellness by offering inclusive, trauma-informed programs and resources that promote physical, mental, and financial well-being in the Greater Philadelphia region, with an emphasis on Delaware County.

Lauren J. Footman is a strategic leader, consultant, and coach that positions organizations and individuals to achieve their desired outcomes. She has experience in corporate, non-profit, higher education and government sectors. Lauren currently serves the inaugural Executive Director of a violence prevention organization.
She graduated from Bryn Mawr College in 2014, with a bachelor's degree in English and double minors in Political Science and Africana Studies. Her time at Bryn Mawr, catalyzed her civic involvement, as she chartered the college’s first NAACP Chapter. In May 2020, Lauren graduated with her master’s in Organizational Dynamics, with a concentration in Organizational Consulting and Executive Coaching at the University of Pennsylvania. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Education at Saint Joseph's University.
Lauren has served on a host of non-profit boards, including Delaware County Women’s Commission, the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, and the Ezekiel Community Development Corporation. Due to her professional and civic endeavors, Lauren has received various awards including the Philadelphia Business Journal 40 Under 40, Philadelphia Tribune as a Top 10 Under 40, and Metro Philadelphia’s Black Power Players.
Lauren's dedication to supporting women, fostering community wellness, and promoting entrepreneurship culminated in the development of Respite with Sisters.
